FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Is this user group sponsored by Sage Software?

No, this user group is sponsored by local resellers who act as the facilitators and presenters. The main goals of the session are to provide information and an opportunity for networking between different users of Sage MAS 90 and MAS 200 accounting software.

What's different about this user group? I've been to others and they were nothing but a sales pitch for different products that I didn't want or need. Then after the meeting I was hounded with sales calls to buy stuff.

Our agenda has the consultants for these products talking about features and capabilities and answering your questions.

We will not have any salespeople making presentations or shaking your hand at the door or chasing you around while you are eating your breakfast.

As consultants we've wasted time with sessions that were nothing but sales pitches and we hate them as much as you do.

Why is there a fee for this group?

This fee covers the cost of the room rental and a full hot breakfast (eggs, waffles, pancakes, coffee).

Will this be a training session? Can I expect to learn in-depth details about a specific module?

We'll cover the top features of modules shown on our agenda, give tips and tricks and answer questions. Due to time restrictions the sessions won't be as extensive as a training class. You can expect to learn something from the session as well as have an opportunity to ask your own questions.

Will there be a speaker from Sage Software?

Not initially. We would like the users to set the agenda and depending upon feedback we will consider requesting a speaker from Sage Software.

If Sage Software is not present, then how will we be able to give them feedback?

There is a direct web link that allows you to leave product suggestions. We'll go over how to access this at the session (as well as how to browse the Sage Knowledgebase).

What if this date isn't good? Are there future User Group meetings planned? If so, when is the next date.

Our user group meets at least quarterly. The time for the next group will always be discussed at the current one.
