Data conversion could not be performed in the following module(s) due to missing data version information in the following modules.

After converting some data files from earlier levels of Sage MAS 90 or 200, some (or all) companies may show with the error message:

"Data conversion could not be performed for the following companies due to missing data version information in the indicated module"

The a list of module/companies follows -- as an example:

ABC (I/M)
EEC (A/P, A/R, G/L)

One cause for this is that the module referenced in the error has never been activated for the company. If you go to the MAS90 folder and rename the data folder for the referenced module/company combination - the conversion will often continue. (Example - Company code ABC with module IM will store data in the folder IMABC).

Another more technical and less likely cause is that the first record in the option file of the module and company giving the error was missing a "N" in the 7th position.

A/PABC YEYYYN030045060090DDN1     then changed it to   A/PABCNYEYYYN030045060090DDN1
         ^
Use the Sage MAS 90 or 200 Data File Display and Manager to change the blank  at (7,1)   to an "N" and the files will convert fine.

The option file for each MAS 90 or MAS 200 module is the two character module code and the number 0. For example, the AP option file for company ABC would be AP0ABC.SOA and it is located in the same data folder as the company data files for that module.
