Sage MAS 90 and 200 ERP Support Without Tears

(10 Tips to Try Before Calling Sage Software Support)

 

  1. Make sure your hardware and operating system is supported by consulting the appropriate
    Sage MAS 90 or 200 Supported Platform Matrix.
  2. Make sure any integrated software (FRX, Crystal, Starship, F9, Business Alerts) is at the proper release level. Consult the Sage Software Integrated Solution Compatibility Matrix.
  3. Try the task on another computer
  4. Re-run Workstation Setup - consult the Sage MAS 90 or 200 Installation Guides for more information.
  5. Reboot
  6. Stop any other programs that are running in the background. Consider whether any new software programs may have been added that are causing your problem.
  7. Load all Sage MAS 90 or 200 program patches/service packs (IMPORTANT: Check with your consultant first - if your software has been modified, then loading program patches could disable any modifications).
  8. Search the Sage Software Knowledgebase. This contains answers to problems related to Sage products.  Questions about third party enhancements need to go to the developer directly.
  9. Search the SageTalk discussion forum
  10. Search Google if the error message is related to the Installshield wizard.
