No valid activation found during Sage MAS 90 or 200 startup
The error message “No valid activation found” when trying to startup Sage MAS 90 or 200 is typically caused by one of the following:
You actually are exceeding the user limit of your license. To check your limit, from within Sage MAS 90 or 200 select FILE – RUN and type *INFO – this will tell you the number of users you are licensed for.
The user trying to enter Sage MAS 90 or 200 does not have adequate network rights to the \MAS90 folder and all subfolders. Give this user full rights.
If on a Terminal Services or Citrix or Remote Desktop installation, Copy ACTIVATE.PVX from the server’s ..\Mas90\Home\Lib\Keys directory to the directory where Workstation Setup was installed on the Terminal Service or Citrix server. (Usually …Mas90\Home\Lib\Keys\).
Verify that the security permissions on that file for remote users gives the full access.
Important Note: In all instances you should be installing the workstation setup for remote users (Terminal Server/Remote Desktop/Citrix) via the Add/Remove programs tool (important).
