We've developed these FAQ's in the interest of saving you time! They answer the most commonly asked questions about Schulz Consulting, LLC and Sage MAS 90 or 200.

Schulz Consulting, LLC has been consulting on Sage MAS 90 or 200  accounting software since 1986

We have full time consultants who perform work for no other accounting packages but Sage MAS 90 or 200. 

We are not a CPA firm, so we are able to devote 100% of our time to supporting your existing Sage MAS 90 or 200 system.

1. What are your rates?
This is an important question. We charge an hourly rate as well as offer telephone support plans

All of our consultants have over 15 years experience with the Sage MAS 90 or 200 product. When you engage Schulz Consulting, LLC for a project you can rest assured you will NOT be training our staff.

Standard rates in the industry are $ 150 to $ 250/hr. You will find people with less skills advertising $ 75 to $ 125. The rate you choose depends on the level of experience you want for your company.

3. Our company uses Sage MAS 90 or 200 and needs another reseller - can you be the reseller?
Yes. We are happy to talk with any users who are in search of another reseller for their product.

However - we urge you to make a few decisions first:

A) We are located in CT and can provide on-site service to all of New England. We charge one way travel at standard rates. We generally require a deposit before providing on-site services.

B) We will happily provide remote support or log into your system remotely to work with you to fix ongoing problems. Please remember that our phone support is delivered under an annual plan. Details Here.

4. Where is Schulz Consulting, LLC located?
We presently have offices in Glastonbury  Connecticut.  We have clients in CT, NY MA that we visit on-site. Clients outside those regions are typically supported by phone and remote connections.

5. Will you travel beyond the New England area?
Yes and one way travel is charged at standard rates. When requested we can make a referral to a local Sage MAS 90 or 200 reseller that we know and trust.

6. Can you answer some free questions for me over the phone?
Due to the volume of support calls we've received from people browsing the Internet, we can no longer individually respond to requests for free support. Review our support plan details here and decide if it is right for your company.

8. Do you do custom programming?.

No, first take a look at the Sage Extended Solutions. These are pre-written enhancements used by may different people. The benefit is you do not have to pay a programmer to write the modification from scratch. The downside is they tend to be expensive and you'll pay ongoing maintenance. When you compare pre-written to customized, I think the pre-written always comes out ahead.

9. Can you give me some tips on researching accounting software?
Try CTS Guides - they have a few great research books that will give you information on various accounting packages.

10. Do you offer Sage MAS 90 or 200 classes? Would you come give one for us?
Call Sage Software at 800-854-3415 and they'll give you the names of some training centers.

Our training classes are all individualized to our clients and are held on-site using their equipment.

13. Which is better - Peachtree or Quickbooks
